Spinach, raspberries, candied pecans, and a tangy vinaigrette—fast and pretty.

Avo's Tip

  • Add the dressing right before serving to keep the spinach crisp.

  • No raspberries? Strawberries, blackberries, or sliced peaches in season all work.

  • No spinach? Arugula adds a peppery bite; spring mix is the mildest swap.

  • No feta? Goat cheese or shaved parmesan both complement the berries.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you start cooking.

Can I make this salad ahead?

Prep ingredients ahead, but dress right before serving so the greens stay crisp.

What can I use instead of raspberries?

Strawberries, blueberries, or sliced apples work well with the same dressing.

How do I add more protein?

Top with chicken, shrimp, salmon, chickpeas, or toasted nuts depending on your preference.

Storage & Reheating

Store dressing separately for up to 3 days.

Why It Works

5 oz fresh spinach

2

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

3

1 tsp honey

4

salt and pepper, to taste

5

2 tbsp olive oil

¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

7

½ cup fresh raspberries

8

¼ cup sliced almonds

 Instructions

1

Lay down the bed of spinach.

2

Scatter the candied walnuts and crumbled feta cheese evenly.

3

Place the avocado slices and fresh raspberries on top.

Sprinkle the chia seeds over everything for that "superfood" finish.

Quick Fixes

  • Spinach wilting: Dress right before serving, not ahead. If prepping in advance, keep dressing separate until the last minute.

  • Dressing too sharp: Add a touch more honey to balance the balsamic.
